Christina Hendricks is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). It has earned the actress six Emmy nominations for best supporting actor and critical praise. Over the course of her professional career, she became known for her role in comedy and drama Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star.
