Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her showbiz career as a child. She played lead roles in television dramas as early as 16 years old. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also critically acclaimed. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she was part of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
